Extreme Welding & Machine Services is an Official Testing Station for Safety Lane Inspections certified by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Our technicians are certified to perform Annual State and Federal DOT Inspections. The purpose is to ensure the vehicle is working properly for safety and environmental reasons. What to Expect in a DOT Inspection
There are a number of things that will be inspected during a DOT inspection such as; lights, visibility, stopping, steering, suspension systems, exhaust systems and additional items listed by the State of Illinois for each type of vehicle inspection. And, for your convenience Extreme Welding & Machine Services has certified mechanics on staff to complete repairs for inspection success!
Safety Lane Inspection Hours
Monday – Friday 7AM – 3:30 PM closed on state holidays. Walks-in are accepted, or contact us to schedule an appointment. After Hour appointments are available upon request. Our Safety Lane Inspection station is conveniently located on US Hwy 45 with no inspection size limitations.
